Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to share with you the recent Ofsted inspection report for our school, which took place on 5th and 6th December. I am delighted to inform you that the overall outcome was very positive, and I am pleased to attach a copy of the report for your reference.

The Ofsted team conducted deep dives into various aspects of our school, focusing on Maths, PE, and Reading. I am thrilled to report that all subjects were found to be strong, showcasing the dedication and hard work of our pupils, teachers, and support staff.

In the area of Reading, the curriculum was recognized as ambitious, reflecting our commitment to providing a rich and challenging educational experience for our pupils. This acknowledgment is a testament to our ongoing efforts to foster a love for reading and ensure that our students are well-prepared for their academic journey.

The deep dive into Maths revealed it to be a particular strength of our school, with effective and comprehensive assessment practices in place. This recognition affirms the dedication of our Maths leader and teachers in providing a high-quality education that equips our students with the necessary skills for success.

Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) was identified as a strength, highlighting our school's ethos that emphasizes inclusivity and ensures that all students can achieve their full potential. We are proud of the supportive environment we have created for pupils with diverse needs. A consistent approach to behaviour management was recognized, with a special mention for the sensitive handling of those students with a higher level of need. This acknowledgment reflects the dedication of our staff in creating an inclusive and supportive atmosphere where every student feels valued and understood.

Physical Education (PE) was also commended for its breadth of sports activities, which both stretch and challenge our pupils.

The Early Years setting was acknowledged for creating a lovely atmosphere where children are engaged in their learning. This positive environment is crucial in laying the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.

Furthermore, the report highlighted that our school leaders demonstrate a clear understanding of our school and possess ambitious intent. This reflects our commitment to continuous improvement and ensuring that our pupils receive the best possible education.

I encourage you to read the attached Ofsted report for a more detailed overview of the findings. We are proud of the positive feedback and recognition, and we will use this as a foundation for further enhancements to our educational offerings.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child's education. If you have any questions or would like further clarification on any aspect of the report, please feel free to contact us-

Yours Sincerely,

Mrs McCluskey
