This year, our focus is on the E in PRIDE, which stands for Equality. As a community, we are celebrating equality and diversity across the school. From lessons that highlight the contributions of different cultures to activities that emphasize fairness and inclusion, we are committed to creating an environment where every student feels valued. Our aim is to help students understand the importance of embracing differences, not only within our school but in the wider world as well.
As part of this focus, the school has already participated in two wonderful activities. First, we held a cake stall in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, contributing to the fantastic work they do for people living with cancer.
Then, our Year 5 and 6 classes went on a memorable trip to the Gurdwara in Gravesend, learning about the Sikh religion. It was a wonderful experience for the students and parents who joined, and it provided a valuable opportunity to promote understanding and respect for different faiths.
