Headteacher welcome

Welcome to Lenham Primary School

We are a good school, with a family feel, which is made up of pupils and staff who take PRIDE in everything they do. Since approximately 2011, the school has developed curriculum and non-curriculum links to the Olympic and Paralympic movements. We have based our PRIDE values on the Olympic values to celebrate our achievements: Personal Excellence, Respect and Resilience, Inspiration, Determination and Equality and Friendship.

The children belong to four different houses named after Olympians and Paralympians and we rename them after each Summer Olympics.

The houses compete for house points through various events. Children have a strong sense of belonging to a house and enjoy receiving the house cup in our celebration assembly.

The staff are passionate about creating great learning experiences for the pupils and providing a caring environment, in order to support the children through their time with us.

The school is situated just a short walk away from the village centre of Lenham. We are lucky to have amazing grounds in which we work and play.

We recognise that parents play an important part in their child’s education and we always welcome your views and feelings. We see ourselves as an important part of the community and we ensure that, as a school, we embrace change and evaluate our performance on a regular basis.

Our pupils are very happy, feel safe and achieve well. Lenham Primary School is a very welcoming and happy school to be part of.

If you would like to know more you can see our Self Evaluation and what we are working on in our School Plan on our Vision and Values page.

I hope you find our website informative and interesting. If you have any questions please contact the office: office@lenham.kent.sch.uk and follow us on Twitter @LenhamPrimary
