World Mental Health Awareness Day
On Thursday 10 October 2019, the whole of Lenham Primary School dressed up in yellow. We had a great day and (for the end of the week) everyone was very jolly. It was really nice standing in the sun looking at all of the different shades of yellow darting around all over the place. We had some teachers in their yellow day outfit which was great to see. People had lessons about mental health and made some bunting of what they would say to someone if they saw someone who looked a bit down. Some examples are: don’t worry be happy, smile, don’t be upset you’re beautiful. It was a great day for everyone in the school and made everyone happy for the day.
We raised an amazing £94.00 for Young Minds charity. Well done everyone!
