The class had an amazing trip to Leeds Castle on the 28th November. The day started with a historical workshop all about chronology. The class had to dress up as people from the Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age, Roman times and Saxon times. They then had to read out some scripts, looked at historical artefacts and learnt about how people's lives changed during these times.
After the work shop, the class had lunch and were able to go around the maze. They also got to walk through the grotto.
Finally, the day ended with our Leeds Castle guides giving us a tour of Leeds Castle. We learnt about Lady Bailey, castle defences and much more. The castle was also decorated for Christmas and we counted a total of 14 Christmas trees!
Thank you to the parent volunteers who came with us on the trip. Your help is much appreciated.
